Hi Guys,

I've joined ATLAS few days ago. I am using BOINC 7.4.27 (x64). Can't process any data from ATLAS, as I get notification:
ATLAS@home: Notice from server
VirtualBox is not installed

Is it going to install one day? Can't do it manually as there's no download option on project website. What's wrong?

Regards from Poland

Pawel

Please install Virtualbox separately from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads , you only will need to install it, the BOINC framework and the jobs that need it will start vbox images as required.

I happen to have the same problem. I have installed VB 5.0 nothing happened. Then I reinstalled the earlier version nothing same can't detect Hypervisor. What to do? I have win 7 intel 5 32g ram and a ssd of250g that's speeding up one of my 3 hd's of 3T each. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have the virtualization extensions of your CPU enabled in the (UEFI) BIOS?

I'm having the same problem.

Windows 8.1 Pro
16GB RAM
i7-4790 @ 3.60GHz
Virtualbox 5.0 installed separately
All virtualization extensions/options enabled in UEFI

Atlas@home has never run on this computer (always the VirtualBox problem).

I'm new to BOINC and i'm on the latest versions of everything. I'm getting this message as well. I'm not sure what I need to configure in virtual box.

Check if you run into the same issue:

Having multiple Hypervisors at Windows with 64 bit doesn't work.

If you saw the complete post, please kindly disregard.

Problem solved. Unable to figure out how to delete so I edit, deconstruct, apologize, and "Ok".

Where is the "DELETE POST" button, anyway? I lost my glasses today and can't seem to find either.

How do you get the server to send new wu's if it has told you that virtualbox is not installed? I have reinstalled everything but it will not hand out any new wu's. GRRRR what the heck? Any help is much appreciated.
