Hey there crunchers!

I'm running 4 wu that are taking days to complete despite the time to go says minutes only, not a problem by itself, but one of those is 100% since yesterday.

Because I paused others pj in order to speed up my first ATLAS wus, I just wonder how usually it takex to be flagged as ready to report.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Rino

The wu at 100% are three now, still running since yesterday, any answer or suggestion?

Please give me your feedback about this topic guys, I really wouldn't to abort them!

Post here your completion time, just to give me an idea!

Cheers

Hi,

If you open the VirtualBox Console, do you see the VMs as running ?

Hi George, thanks for your reply.

Opening VB console, I see 6 virtual machines, 3 running and 3 interrupted, the running ones sometimes flash paused, saving and then running again (once in 30min).

In the task manager I see 3 vbox_headless process, 7 vbox_manage process, 3 of them coming in and out continously, 1 vbox_svc process, 1 virtualbox process.

CPU usage is 0 for all of them

headless process use 46MB memory more or less
manage process use 3x3MB, 4x100KB memory
svc process uses 20MB memory
vrtualbox process uses 20MB memory

In BoincTask the ATLAS CPU usage is around 0.3%

Hope that this could clearify what is going on.

Thanks a lot

Cheers

Hi,

Looks like you have the same issue I had as I tried to get it running the first time. If you see them flashing in the Console, Virtualbox can't start up the ATALS x64 Vms, but it's endless trying to get them running.

If you manually start one (stop it on Boinc first), then you'll see the related error message.

Uninstall the Windows HyperV feature. VirtualBox installs a HyperVisor, but Windows has already one by default. Only one allowed.

Thansk you very much Georg, now I got it.

I'll try to fix it as you suggested.

Cheers.
