We recently implemented a new badge system for ATLAS@home, and details for the ATLAS@home badge system can be found here.

Excited about this? Check your profile and see what Particle you are now!

Or curious to see what badges our top users have?

Still a little bit of tweaking I guess. :)

In looking at my profile, I see two img's. The Top 1% one looks fine, but it seems the Top Quark img is missing somehow. :)

<img height="48" src="" title=""></img>
<img height="48" src="img/TopSapphire.png" title="Top 1% in average credit"></img>
EDIT: Or is the Top Quark, Sapphire" Badge one and the same and the one I see missing the one yet to be implemented? :)

Well, I see 9 blanks, TopQuark, Joined for over 90 days and Credit over 1 Mil. Guess I have to guess what it takes to get those nine empties filled in. :)

Time for some volunteerism to get something better than "Tile" for the Total credit img. :)

A nice additional feature would be to see how far one has to go for the next badge level. (Similar like the badge page at PrimeGrid.) At the moment, I see the badge for more than 90 days - but is my personal state 90.1 or 179.9 days?

Well, to be honest, the boxes are really ugly. Can't you just have the element (sphere) showing up, with no box around it?

I totally agree that the boxes are ugly -compare them with my other badges. Furthermore I'd like the project to put more effort in the WUs themselves. I just had a WU aborted by the server after running for 500+ hours and not getting a single credit for it. As with each and every other project that uses Virtual Box it takes far too much system resources and runs for way too long on any given system.

I am running ATLAS@home on my Windows 8.1 PC together with vLHC@home and CPDN. CPU usage is 98%, memory usage 44%, out of 20 GB. ATLAS tasks take less the 3 hours and I have 3 badges.

On the bagde system description page for me it looks like the pictures and the texts for the tau-neutrino and the e-neutrino are mixed up.

+1

1. The badges for credit (IBL, pixels, etc) are really poor compared to the particle badges.
2. No-one cares about the RAC badges. If you scrap those, you have some really cool images to use...
3. Can you add the badges under our avatars, as other projects do.
4. Can you add the badges to lists (top participant, teams, etc) as other projects do

Thank you for the badges, we do like having them, but a few tweaks would be super.

Also, +1 for the WU comment from Mr Broer.

I've got three badges

Top 25% RAC (which really means nothing at all) since it is dynamic, and I may lose it in two weeks)
Joined over 180 days
Total Credit over 50K

But only two are appearing on my signature?

Free-DC doesn't use the RAC badges for signatures because it means nothing and is dynamic.

The RAC badges would be worth something if they measured your highest achievement rather than a snapshot. But that's unlikely to change, especially since BOINC has been defunded.

Agreed, would be nicer without the boxes.

Also, I currently have labelled as CreditRuby-LAr

but will soon be moving up to labelled as CreditEmerald-Tile

Should they really look like this ?

I'm excited about this! Not so much for the badges (which are totally cool and I have no complaints about), but because I've been a member of ATLAS for almost six months and this old box of mine fiiiiinnnnallllyyyy started crunching numbers yesterday. WOOHOO!

Thank you, all you crazy-smart people on this team who work really super-duper hard to get everything up-and-running.

I take a bow to you.

I see my total credit badge at free-dc but do not see my project longevity badge there like I do my milkyway badges.

They do like to repost RAC badges for some reason.
