Hi,

I'm running BOINC 7.2.42 (which is the latest version at the time of this post, according to the download page) on Debian 7.2 with virtualbox 4.1.42-dfsg-1+deb7u1 (which is the latest version available in the debian sources).

Anyone else sees this behaviour? Can I do anything about that?

Cheers from Vienna/Austria
Matthew

You can download the latest directly from BOINC

I got stuck on this as well. I found the answer on another project. There is a known bug in boinc that will cause this. See https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/issues/1460

Short answer: look in client_state.xml and delete the line that says

<p_vm_extensions_disabled>1</p_vm_extensions_disabled>
