I received this communication from the server:ATLAS Simulation needs 6198.88MB more disk space. You currently have 0.00 MB available and it needs 6198.88 MB.

When I checked my system I find:
Total paging all drives- Minimum Allowed - 16MB; Recommended -12226MB; and Currently Allocated - 8151MB.

What would cause this discrepancy?

Regards. Peter

I'm no expert at these things, but I can share my experience with that error. I believe it is telling you that all of your 8G or so, has been allocated and ATLAS needs another 6 on top of that. What I did was to finally go in and allocate around 25G to Boinc and the it stopped nagging me. Depends on how much you have free on your drive, but this is a new one without a lot of stuff on it yet, so I could afford it.

If I'm just telling you things you already knew, sorry about that. Let me know and I'll go stand in the corner. :)
