I see in the description that you need an AMD x86_64 or Intel EM64T CPU to run om win 10. I have a Intel Core i7-6800 @3.4GHz 64 bit processor. Is this good enough?

Thanks.

Welcome mlcasmey,
You machine is plenty good enough and the project(s) will be delighted to have you on board.
All the LHC projects are being consolidated into one umbrella site so no new work is being given out here and this site will close down once current work in progress has completed.
Please detach from here and re-join at https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/.

I see you did manage to get a task. Let it finish then if you attach to the consolidated site with the same username and e-mail, credits earned from this task will transfer when this site shuts down.

Thanks Ray. Is there anything I need to do in my BOINC Manager? When you are up and running again will work start heading my way or should I wait and reset or remove and reload your program.

Mike.

Yes Mike your computer will be happy over at https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/

Use that link to *add project* on your Boinc Manager and then pick the version of tasks you want to run there in your LHC account *Preferences for this project*

If I have no tasks left for Atlas@home, should I remove the project from BOINC? I already run LHC@home. What about LHC@home 1.0?

Hi, David,
You can safely remove Atlas and move over to the consolidated LHC, although I have my machines still attachted (not accepting work) , just for easy access to these boards. Your credits will follow you there once all current work has returned or gets cancelled - Friday deadline for work so I guess early next week.
LHC 1.0 is the old site and can similarly be safely removed in favour of the new consolidated one.
