|Your opinions about ATLAS@Home|
|1. I don't run Atlas@home. I'm interested in CERN and wanted to help but Boinc doesn't work, help is too difficult to obtain so I uninstalled it.|
2. Good idea if it worked. Boinc has a bug and doesn't work and no one is interested in offering help/it's too complicated/time consuming to get help.
3. Fix Boinc or at least have a proper, easily accessible, bug reporting page.
It worked for 1 day and fell over. Day one it showed it was using core 1 and processed 8 tasks. Day 2 onwards it showed it was waiting for 8CPUs and stopped working. If it can change it's own settings without any input and then fail to operate after working perfectly, it has a major bug.
If there's no option to report a bug (a forum that doesn't respond or an e-mail that responds you need to join yet another whatever to get a response) then it's not worth the effort to offer free computing power.
