|Your personal background.|
|I am an Electric Engineer who studied at the University of Dortmund, Germany. |
Currently I am working for a locally well known company in North Tyrol, Austria.
I began learning programming in MOS 6510-Assembler on Commodore C64 in 1982.
My first owned Computer was 1984 the CPC464 with the Zilog Z80A which I loved.
Followed in 1987 by the Atari 1040ST, which is still with me and fully operational. Its Motorola 68000 is the love of my life.
From 1991 on I switched to IBM-Compatible - from 80286-16, 486SX-20, K6-2-233, K6-III-350, Pentium-90, Celeron-233, Athlon XP, Phenom X3 to current Xeon.
My two current workstations have Xeon E5-2670 v2 with 10 real cores and Xeon E5-2620 v2 with 6 real cores.
Both my daughters have 4 cores - i7-4770K and the little one Phenom-II X4 965
